Why do you use Rapseed and Coconut wax and not Soy?
Soy, while natural, is an unsustainable crop to grow - land should be left to rest for 18 months between crops. In practice this is not happening. The demand for soy is creating intenstive farming practices, deforestation and social justice issues in countries of origin
While we started our candle testing with soy originally, upon realising we researched and found that rapeseed and coconut wax is the most renewable and sustainable wax available.
We are also looking at other options such as olive wax so we are always open to making sure we are at the top of our sustainability game.
